In this video adapted from ATETV, join students from Sinclair Community College as they learn how to conduct a household energy audit. With the growing interest in energy conservation, there is a need for people who are trained to measure energy use and make recommendations on ways homeowners can reduce their energy consumption and save money. In the video, students receive training in the different kinds of equipment used to check the efficiency of mechanical systems and locate air leaks. With this training, they will be prepared not only to perform energy audits but to pursue related careers in the energy efficiency field.
