In this ZOOMSci video, two young scientists design an experiment to learn whether seeds stuck to a sock that has been worn in a grassy field will grow when planted in soil. The demonstration gives students a better idea of the kinds of plants growing in their area and helps them begin to think about the evolutionary strategies of plants.
