Enzyme Comic Strip

In this lesson, students create a comic strip to demonstrate their comprehension of enzyme function and enzymatic reactions.  This activity can be used as a formative assessment to check for understanding.  This activity was designed for a 9th grade or 10th grade biology class (CP or Basic).  It is easy to grade!  Activity review questions are included or the comic strip can be a stand alone activity.  This lesson includes supports for multilingual learners at the bridging proficiency level.

This resource includes:

1) Comic Strip Template with review questions

2) Student Example (with key)

Extension:  You can modify the template to include other ways enzymes can be denature.  Students love the denature part of the assignment.  You can also do a gallery walk with students - they can show off the cool ways their enzymes were denatured!
