Explorers at Work: Beverly and Dereck Joubert

Award-winning filmmakers, photographers and conservationists Dereck and Beverly Joubert have dedicated their lives to saving the wild places and animals of Africa. In 2009, the Jouberts established the Big Cats Initiative with National Geographic with a goal to halt the creatures’ decline in the wild and since then have helped saved huge numbers of big cats.
