Identifying Text Structures Interactive Practice Infographic

This interactive Text Structure Identification Activity helps middle school ELA and ELD students practice recognizing different text structures. Students will read sentences, drag and drop the correct text structure label, and then identify clue (signal) words that support their choice. This engaging, hands-on task reinforces understanding of description, compare/contrast, cause/effect, problem/solution, and sequence/chronology text structures. This activity is part of a comprehensive resource bundle designed to support text structure instruction through multiple formats, including worksheets, graphic organizers, and reading passages.
