Matching Tens Game

Objective: Match two cards—one with a number and the other with ten blocks representing that number.

Gameplay Instructions: Place all cards upside down and shuffle them. Spread out the cards. Students take turns flipping over two cards. If the number on one card matches the ten blocks on the other card, the player keeps the pair. If the cards do not match, the player flips them back over and leaves them in the same spot. The player with the most pairs at the end wins.

Skills Reinforced: Number recognition. Visual representation of quantities. Memory and concentration.
