Intro to Thermal Energy Transfer Vocabulary Activity
This resource is designed to help 8th-grade students understand key scientific terms: thermal energy, atom/molecule, temperature, and heat. Through reading and completing a Frayer Model, students will analyze definitions, characteristics, examples, and non-examples for each term, strengthening their understanding of energy and matter. Included in this resource is a two-page blank student worksheet (Frayer Model), three options for students to gather information and teacher answer resource.
