This curriculum is intended to be used as a one semester course in the Social Science framework to satisfy the Ethnic Studies graduation requirement for California. All lessons are aligned with the six Guiding Values and Principles of Ethnic Studies and the eight Ethnic Studies Outcomes. The curriculum is presented in five units, approved lessons are listed. Students will be learning about ethnic groups that are often left out of the mainstream history curriculum while getting a better understanding of others and themselves.
