Common and Proper Noun Sort
Use this resource to sort common and proper nouns.
After students have sorted their nouns, have them write two sentences. Each sentence must have a common and proper noun in the sentence. For example, my teacher (common) is Mr. Gutierrez (proper).
Students may need to find their own pairings; not all the nouns have a pairing on the list. Students can either try to find a connection from the word bank or they can create their own.
