National Geographic Educator-Created Units

This folder showcases a collection of interdisciplinary units designed by National Geographic Educators during our professional learning workshops. Each unit is grounded in the NatGeo Explorer Mindset and incorporates inquiry-based learning, real-world connections, and strategies that support environmental and geographic literacy. These resources are designed to engage students in critical thinking, spark curiosity, and inspire stewardship of the planet. Units span multiple grade levels and content areas, and many include embedded supports for Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and English Language Development (ELD).
