Description

Students extend their understanding of part–whole relationships through the lens of geometry and begin to understand unit fractions as equal parts of a whole.

The Following Topics Are Included within this Module:

• Topic A:  Attributes of Geometric Shapes
• Topic B:  Composite Shapes and Fractions Concepts
• Topic C:  Halves, Thirds, and Fourths of Circles and Rectangles
• Topic D:  Application of Fractions to Tell Time

Lessons are organized under each of the topic areas.
