Activities for All Grades (Relationship Skills)

Cultivating relationships among students will result in a caring, trusting, and supportive learning environment where students feel safe to take intellectual and emotional risks, develop and express their authentic identity, and become more accepting and less judgmental about others.

Build relationships with your students by greeting them by name, asking how they are doing (really), making time for one word check-ins and check-outs about what’s going on in our lives, and inviting students to tell you how school can be a place where they feel seen, valued, and excited to learn, what matters most to them, and how we can work together to keep improving as a class.
