District and school leaders, including induction and instructional coaches and department and grade level team leaders, can directly impact school climate and culture through cultivation of healthy, caring, supportive relationships among staff members. Given what we know about the protective factor of positive relationships on overall health and wellbeing of educators, leaders can leverage staff meetings, professional learning, and 1:1 conversations to build connected relationships that fosters resilience, motivation, and inspiration.
