This collection includes information focusing on different historical events, items, and influences in the fashion world. The topic in this collection dive into capitalism, politics, discrimination, expression, etc. The collections purpose is to focus on the impact fashion has had on women's and young girls experience in life throughout the years.

This Learning Lab collection was created by K'Lynn, 8th grade student. This project, Girlhood Leadership and Learning, was created to support the new exhibit, Girlhood (It's complicated) at Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History.
