William Edward Burghardt Du Bois: A Strong Person in Promoting African American Causes
This collection has a purpose of clarifying Du Bois' impact on American culture and his impact on the issue of discrimination against black people. Racism has always been a serious problem in the world, and in recent years, the black lives matter movement has gained momentum again in the wake of the George Floyd incident in 2020. Du Bois is one of the most famous people who continued to fight for the rights of African-Americans throughout his life. He aspired to promote social reforms based on empirical research on the history and current situation of black people, and produced valuable and pioneering academic results, and also left a great mark as an ideological leader and practitioner in the modern black liberation movement. Today, he is remembered as one of the most influential African-American philosophers of the 20th century. The second half of the collection clarifies his important works, activities and efforts throughout his life for promoting African American causes.
