Claude Monet Artwork

This learning lab is about Claude Monet different art works overtime. He was born November 14, 1840 Paris France and died : December 5, 1926 (aged 86). he started paining when he was 15. In 1912, Claude Monet learned that he had cataracts , a disease of the eye that seems to have left its mark on his work.  Monet complained of cataracts interfering with his ability to see colors for 10 years before he finally underwent surgery to have them removed. In this learning lab i will talk about and compare and contrast before and after his cataracts. In 1885 he drew "The Cliffs at Etretat" before his vision disease and you can see that there are small people far back into the painting and its very detailed , this might mean he was good at working on small details and background details.
