Data Analysis: Population Changes in Africa Before European Arrival

Students will read a short description of population change in Africa, then review both maps and charts that provide detailed information on population in Africa from 1000 CE to 1500 CE, and finally draft an essay where they draw conclusions on what affected the population rate.
