In this video segment, students will see exactly how the digestive enzymes break down the food in Michael Mosley's body from images on the camera inside his body. Students will understand how solid food becomes unrecognizable mush through gastric acid found in the stomach. Students will also learn how the stomach expands upon eating food and what it does to move food to the small intestines.
